Maps

The MINDeSEA consortium is working now on the compilation and creation of databases of existing data on seabed mineral occurrences in European waters. A first INSPIRE-compliant harmonised datasets and maps were produced in December 2019. The dataset and GIS cartography contains data on more than 600 occurrences for hydrothermal mineralisations, Fe-Mn crusts, phosphorites, polymetallic nodules and marine placers.

Through this viewer the results of the MINDeSEA project will be made accessible when they will be available through the project.
